William Beardmore Commercial Vehicles Radiator Style Cap Badge

A very rare original circa 1920's period 'Beardmore cap badge'; large brass example in the form of a commercial vehicles radiator inlaid with dark blue enamel with 'BEARDMORE' diagonal white enamel logo across the centre; the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'COLLINS LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings and split pin, no damage to the enamel only light service wear scratches as you would expect.Height approx 36mm.William Beardmore and Company of Parkhead (Glasgow) and Dalmuir active between 1886 and 1930.
