A rare original First World War period 'Royal Flying Corps skilfully handcrafted laminated wooden propeller'; large size example possibly worn as a tiepin, portraying the coloured grains of the wood, the central hub decorated with brass pin heads to give the right effect. Very good condition, complete with originalone-piece brass pin fitting, typical of the period.Width approx 73mm.
