Excellent late war produced M42 canteen in configuration with black phenolic cup marked 3X S. This canteen comes in a rare and interesting configuration with a riveted cover. The flask is a typical late war steel enameled type covered with rough green paint based on the steel M42 pattern canteens. The flask is marked AEMA which indicates production byAnnweiler Email-u.Metall-Werkein 1943. Excellent and rare to find canteen!
