This medal (ie. 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938') was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and is an attractive and/or truly very detailed- (most certainly issued, mounted and I deem worn as such-) example having great pronounced detail. The medal on offer here has a very nicely preserved (and fully present!) bright golden-bronze-toned finish that is void of any tarnish nor stains: it has simply never been cleaned nor polished and truly retains all of its period golden-toned- (ie. 'Brennlacquered-') finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed medal came mounted onto its confectioned- (ie. pre-folded) piece of ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') that shows a period-attached safety-pin attached (intended for wearing this example onto a tunic). Simply an attractive and complete Czech 'Anschluss'-medal-set that is I deem accordingly priced!
