Third Reich Schutzpolizei NCO Service Tunic-This handsome tunic is produced in blue green wool that is in great condition, remaining very clean and damage free with extremely minor wear. This has an eight button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal (a few are reapplied). There are four pockets with scalloped flaps. The breast pockets are pleated. The collar and cuffs are dark brown badge cloth. The closure seam, cuffs and front/lower edge of the collar are piped in green. There are NCO collar tabs of green cloth with metallic tresse strip columns and bullion twist rope piping. The shoulder boards are the sew in type and produced in brown cloth with a green cotton backing. The perimeter has silver flat wire with black cloth v's sewn in. This tunic has loops for musicians swallows nests which is really interesting! There are loops for a medium ribbon bar, one of which is included, a WWI version. The left sleeve has a green machine embroidered police eagle with the city reading 'Chemnitz'. The interior is fully lined in greenish brown cotton. It is very clean. There is a pocket on the left side plus a slot for a dagger (no strap is present). This is a size medium. Excellent condition overall!
