Original Period Manufacture. Doeskin feldgrau wool body, with silver piping on the crown and turn up. Silver flat wire embroidered eagle which is hand stitched to the front of the hat. Between the dark green soutasche, is a bullion wire embroidered cockade. Black silk lining with a gray leather partial sweatband at front, displaying the name Qualitat Mutze. Two moth bites on the top of the hat, otherwise it is in very clean condition. Large size, about a 59-60
