A scarce original circa 1930's early period 'London Midland Scottish Railway Police set of eleven uniform nickel buttons', bearing the heraldic company crest within a wreath of roses and thistles, the reverse of each bearing maker's details 'BUTTONS LIMITED BIRMINGHAM'. Very good condition, all complete with shanks.Diameter approx 23 and 16mm.London Midland Scottish Railway Police was formed on the 1st January 1923 they beame part of the British Railways Police with the nationalisation of the railways in 1948.
