WH (Heer) Cavalry Insignia Set 'Reiter-Regiment 8'

Wehrmacht (Heer) Cavalry Insignia Set consisting of a pair of Collar Tabs (Kragenspiegel) and Shoulder Boards (Schulterstücke) as intended for a 'Leutnant' within 'Reiter-Regiment 8' (Officer within the cavalry-related regiment with number 8). The different branches of service within the German army were allocated a particular identifying 'Waffenfarbe' (branch of service) color which was generally displayed on the collar tabs. These insignia are having the orange-yellow branch-colour as intended for an officer within the Cavalry, the numerals '8' are attached to the shoulder-straps indicating a cavalry regiment with number '8'. This would be a nice addition to an insignia collection. Nice original set in very good, mint and unissued, condition!
