WW1 Pair & Memorial plaqueTo- 25702.PTE.J.PIKE.BORD.RJoseph Pike was born in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset & enlisted in Windermere, Westmoreland. Whilst living in Bowness, Windermere. He died of wounds in France & Flanders 1-5-1918 serving with the 8th service battalion of the Border Regiment & is buried in Etaples military cemetery. The CWGC state that his next of kin was his brother-in-law Mr. David Marr of 652 South Clerk street, Edinburgh.Mint boxed pair & plaque with forwarding slip for the medals, original certificate of death, original will & letters with regards to pension payments. Along with MIC details & details from both SDGW & the CWGC
