WW1 Victory MedalTo- 23782.PTE.C.A.PEACHEY.GLOUC.RCharles Alfred Peachey was born in Stanway, Gloucestershire & enlisted in Stow on the Wold. He first landed in France 26-12-1915 serving with the 10th service battalion of the Gloucestershire regiment. He died of wounds in France & Flanders 15-9-1916 & is buried in Heilly station cemetery at Meircourt-L'Abbe. He was 21 years of age at the time of his death & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of John & Mary peachey of Church street, Bledington, Kingham, Oxfordshire.NEF & Complete with MIC details. Along with details from both SDGW & the CWGC
