Japanese WWII Late Type 30 Bayonet Jinsen Mfg

Original era manufacture. Square pommel, straight guard, no contour wooden grips with a blue finished, later pattern blade without fullers, rather crude in construction with file marks visible. Clear Jinsen arsenel proof on the ricasso, with a general unfinished look to the blade surface, typical for this late pattern bayonet. The grips show original finish with light denting and marring from age and use. The two piece wooden scabbard shows a simple lacquered finish with a squared off tip. It is bound in two places with twine and has a metal scabbard loop at the throat. Scarce late pattern bayonet.
