Original German WWII M31 Aluminum Outer And Inner Liner Helmet Band 64/56 Dated 1937 With Partial Chinstrap-This authentic M31 non-reinforced aluminum liner band is size-stamped 64/56 and dated 1937, designed for use in an M35 helmet shell. The liner bands retain their original form, though they are slightly bent in areas and could be carefully reshaped; no major damage is present. Postwar red paint remains on the bands and could be removed.The set includes the original liner pins and a partial leather chinstrap with hardware. The chinstrap is not complete but in poor condition, broken, very dry, and fragile. Overall, this liner assembly is a solid restoration candidate and remains in good to very good condition.
