Banners of this type were prominently displayed throughout Germany between 1933 and 1945 for propaganda, military, and ceremonial purposes, and were commonly used at rallies, parades, and other public events.This example is a long banner/runner, with a similar stripe pattern to the Kriegsflagge, but without the swastika. Vibrant red, black and white colors. Both ends have been cut, and the fabric shows expected signs of age and use, including small holes and minor staining throughout.The banner measures approximately 876cm x 76cm (345' x 30').
