In a very good condition a US WW2 11th Airborne Division Grouping on the name of 'S/Sgt. Alfred A. Hanel'.Alfred served in the HQ Batt. 457th Parachute Field Airborne Battalion underneath the 11th Airborne Division and went overseas to the Phillipines, Okinawa and Japan accourding his notes.He got his bronze star for actions in Luzon Phillipines.The grouping contains his Ike Jacket, Service Shirt with original applied insiginia, his garrison cap, M42 jumpjacket and a used M42 Jumptrousers.Also attached is his portrait picture, belt and and some loose patches.A very stunning grouping and nice research project!
