1916 Battle of Jutland Medal by Spink.

Description

The Jutland medal was struck immediately after the battle had been fought and before it had received its official title. Made by Spink & Sons London for the benefit of naval orphanages. It was issued in several sizes and in gold, silver, bronze and a silver-plated base metal. This one is the smallest size for a watch fob in sterling silver, and it comes in near mint condition and in its original box of issue. It measures just under 1 inch in diameter.
