D.F. 10x80 Flakfernrohr binoculars 'dkl' set

A superb US Veteran bring-back set of the iconic D.F. 10x80 Flak binoculars; presented in very nice original wartime condition and still complete with the rubber browpad, front sunshades and the ever elusive 'quick sight' attachment!Finished in the original tan paint and clearly maker coded 'dkl' to indicate manufacture byJosef Schneider, Kreuznach.The optics are clear, yet the left-hand side focal adjustment will require some attention due to not engaging if required. The crosshair aiming reticule remains intact inside.Also included are amatching setof the rare cradle & turntable mount components - with both parts maker coded 'ecr'.Plus a later makeshift wooden based, allowing them to be nicely presented for display upon a desk if desired.It is getting extremely hard to find all of these parts in any condition at all, yet alone in full original wartime tan paint such as seen here.A set that makes for a real statement piece within any collection and equipment / optics display!Please note: Due to the size / weight of this set - collection preferred or shipping to be arranged across multiple parcels.
