Hensoldt 10x50 Panzer Dienstglas binoculars 'bmj 1942'

A completely untouched set of the scarcer black 10x50 Dienstglas variant of the 'Panzer' roof prism binoculars, which were produced byHensoldt Wetzlarunder the 'bmj' maker code.Factory finished in black paint, this particular set retains the majority of the original finish and also comes complete with all of the fitted accessories as shown - including the Bakelite ocular lens cover unique to this binocular!The blackPresstoffcase also rates in similarly nice condition and is faintly maker coded 'bmj' along with the date of 1942. It has a US Customs sticker applied to the lid.The optics on this pair remain excellent and clear, making them great to use! They ever still retain theStrichplatterangefinder reticule that is often missing on these sets.Overall, a lovely set of a now quite scarce service binocular - still presented exactly as they were found!
