Vintage Captain Currey Ltd – Marine Rigging Kit with Leather Sheath

Here on offer is a vintage Captain Currey Ltd, marine rigging kit with leather sheath.This kit would have originally started life as a 4 piece rigging kit, by Captain Currey Ltd, of Chichester, England.Now there are only two pieces left of the original kit, being:1) 3.75'' stainless steel rigging knife with rosewood handle.2) Cast shackler spike with splicing grooveAlong with the original leather sheath with a 2' belt loop. The sheath is stamped on the front with:CURREY LTDCHICHESTERENGLANDThe knife blade is etched on one side with the maker's details:C CURREY LTDCHICHESTERENGLANDand STAINLESS STEEL.The knife shows some signs of use, with some scratch marks to the polished blade finish.The shackler spike is in mint condition, retaining its sharp point.The two items that are now missing are:3) Combination Pliers4) 160mm Chrome Plated Adjustable SpannerShould you wish to replace these items, they are both available to buy from their online shop at Captaincurrey.com, or you can obviously use any equivalent pieces that actual fit in the pockets of the sheath.The 4 piece rigging kit sells for £60 on the Captain Currey website, so this is an economical way of obtaining a 2 piece kit (which they also sell at £45!) with the option to upgrading it to a 4 piece kit, for far less than £60.The knife measures 8' (20cm) long and has a 3.75' (9.5cm) long blade.The spike measures 7.2' (18cm) long.The kit with the sheath weighs 240g.Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched.The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country.
