French WWI Ifantry Officers Kepi, 19th Regiment, Lieutenant

Original era manufacture. Nice quality hat with a dark black wool covered body,  red wool crown with two rows of gold wire rank trim and a thin gold wire brocade chinstrap. Embroidered bullion wire 19 on the front. Bursting bomb decorated brass side buttons. The light blue silk liner shows wear but is fairly intact, the sweatband is missing.
