German Imperial Era Navy Enlisted Dress Coat, Named, 1881 Issue

Original period manufacture. Issue dress coat with an 1881 date and named to a Matrosen named Mergner. Interestingly there is an Iron Cross 2nd class ribbon through the buttonhole, very faded from time and exposure, perhaps for service in 1870, or added in 1970 or anytime before or after. Might be a fun research project. No moth issues to report, comes with the dress tie as shown. The tie might be newer, but is a correct navy tie and was with the jacket at the time of our purchase.
