US 1902 Pattern Army Enlisted Visor Hat

Original period manufacture. Private purchase hat with a printed retailers name on the black cotton lining, M.C.Lilley. Near moth free dark blue wool top and band, with a patent leather visor and adjustable chinstrap. Brass staff pattern buttons on each side. Intact and securely sewn tan imitation leather sweatband. Evidence of insignia once being mounted to the front of the hat. Small moth bite on the rear lower edge of the band. Small size, maybe a 6.25.
