US WWII Women's Army Corps Enlisted Winter Service Hat, Early Eagle

Original period manufacture. Olive wool cap with matching visor and chin strap. Early pattern enlisted WAC eagle and plastic side buttons. I counted about 10 pinhole moth bites on the top of the cap and visor, and a single larger one on the underside of the visor. Faint name and service number stenciled in the lining. Shows evidence of old make up on the front of the sweatband. Size marked 22 1/2.
