German WWII Heer Medical Officer Overseas Hat

Original period manufacture. Moth free, feldgrau wool M1938 pattern cap with silver wire piping on the crown and turn up. Flat wire Heer pattern eagle hand sewn to the front of the hat, with a bullion cockade below, again hand sewn using the same color of thread. Blue inverted V soutache for an officer in the Medical department. Brown imitation silk lining, unmarked. Light age and wear, size about a 58. Very clean condition.
