German WWI Era S84/98 Dress Bayonet, Eickhorn, Unit Marked Scabbard

Original period manufacture. Clean bayonet produced by Eickhorn. Polished steel blade measures 10 inches in length, no corrosion issues, just some typical scattered staining. Polished steel guard and pommel, standard composition grips which have been repainted gloss black by a previous owner. Steel and leather scabbard fits the blade properly, unit marked on the reverse of the throat, 37.R.E.1.69, Reserve Fusilier Rgt. von Steinmetz, 1st Company, weapon 69. The leather body has been over painted black by a previous owner.
