K98 M34 Cleaning Kit with Contents

Wehrmacht K98 M34 Cleaning Kit, complete with contents (Reinigungsgerät 34 mit Inhalt). When issued the K98 came accompanied with assorted accessory items including a sling, a cleaning rod, a protective muzzle cover and a M34 cleaning kit that was officially introduced on 4 September 1934 and was utilized with all bolt action rifles. The fieldgrey painted metal cleaning kit is nicely maker marked by 'ab 42' indicating production in 1942. The kit is complete with a metal oiler, takedown-tool, chain and 2 brushes. The chain and brushes might have been post-war replaced, priced accordingly. Nice set in good used condition!
