QSA 1899-1902 With Defence of Ladysmith clasp & 1914-15 trio To- 180475.T.H.LOVESAY.AB.HMS.POWERFUL (QSA)& 180475.T.H.LOVESAY.AB.RN (1914-15 Trio)Thomas Howell Lovesay was born in London 14-9-76 & enlisted in to the Royal Navy as a boy in 1894. He served on land with the Naval brigade from HMS Powerful during the defence of Ladysmith & was of 275 recipients of the Defence of Ladysmith clasp to the ship. He continued to serve throughout WW1 & was onboard HMS St George 1915-1916 & went on to be discharged to pension at the wars end.NEF & Complete with copy service papers & medal roll details.
