GVR 1st type WW1 Immediate M.S.MTo- 25253.C.S.MJR.F.VEEVERS.2/LANC.FUSFred Veevers from Walkden near Manchester was awarded the immediate meritorious service medal for services in France with the 2nd Lancashire Fusiliers & this was published in the London gazette 3-6-1919.
