Original Waffen SS Late War Issue Black PanzerEnlisted MansM43 Cap Size 57-This is an excellent late-war issue Waffen-SS Panzer Enlisted Mans M43 field cap, displaying the classic construction traits associated with examples manufactured at the Dachau KZL and discovered there at the war's end.The cap is constructed of black wool, with a factory-applied machine-embroidered SS eagle and Totenkopf on a felt-backed trapezoid. The insignia is correctly zig-zag stitched to the front. It retains its original black plastic front buttons. The interior is lined with light grey cotton in a herringbone twill weave, while the underside of the visor features the standard grey cardboard reinforcement. Light tan bias tape is neatly applied throughout, and ribbed cotton earflap loops remain intact.The cap is size-stamped '57' in black ink. A few loose original construction threads are present, but there are no flaws or damage. The cap remains in unissued condition and stands as a textbook example of a late-war SS Panzer M43.
