Romanian Pre WWI Era, Order of the Star of Romania, Military, Type I

Original era manufacture. A bronze gilt version with intact enamel, and original ribbon with rosette. Officer grade I believe, with the crossed swords below the crown.No enamel damage as I stated, the medal no longer pivots, and has been fixed by a spot of solder below the crown on the reverse. A nice quality old medal with a great vintage look to it. Instituted in 1877 when Romania gained her independence from the Ottoman Empire. Type1 award with the cypher on the reverse instead of the 1877 date.
