WW1 1914-15 Trio & Memorial PlaqueTo- 4-1154.PTE.J.CAMPBELL.NORTH'D.FUSJames Campbell was born in Winlaton, County Durham & lived in Newburn-on-Tyne. He first landed in France 20-4-1915 serving with the 1/4th battalion of the Northumberland Fusiliers & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 24-4-1917. He had been issued with the new six figure TF service number 200191 prior to his death & having no known grave he is commemorated on the Arras memorial.Medals NEF. Whilst the plaque is VF or better & has been harshly cleaned at some stage in the past.
