WW1 British War Medal & Memorial PlaqueTo- 18-445.PTE.C.BELL.DURHAM.L.ICharles Bell first landed in theatre of war 2B The Balkans 6-12-1915 serving with the 18th service battalion of the Durham Light Infantry / Durham Pals. He transferred to the 25th service battalion of the Northumberland fusiliers / 2nd Tyneside Irish with service number 35566. He sadly died of wounds in France & Flanders 16-10-1917 & is buried in Dozinghem military cemetery. He was born in Rainton, County Durham & enlisted in Durham.GVF / NEF & Complete with MIC details. Along with details from both SDGW & the CWGC.
