A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry regimental association lapel badge'; silver plated green enamel title surround, an embossed representation of the regiment badge to centre on red enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.GAUNT LONDON'. Very good condition, minor service wear, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.Diameter approx 23mm.
