Fred Freeman 2nd Btn., Lincolnshire Regiment was killed in action on 01/07/1916 (The first day of the Somme) He was was born and enlisted in Burton-On-Trent and lived at Stanton Hill, Notts.He is commemorated on The Thiepval Memorial.He arrived in France on 27/07/1915 and is entitled to a 1914/15 Star trio.
