WWI USMC 2nd Division Helmet

WWI USMC 2ndDivision Helmet-This is a very interesting find. It is a British made Model 1916 helmet. It has a hand painted logo of the US Marine Corps 2ndDivision plus a WWI type metal e.g.a. just above. The finish is a brownish red. There is no liner, just a string so it could be displayed. There is a VERY old paper tag attached that reads 'British M1916 with insignia of: Hq. Company. 5thMarine Rgt. 2ndUS Inf Div, Reference: Nat'l Geograph. Mag. Dec 1919'. It's a great helmet and I love the old tag!
