Model 1916 German Camouflage Helmet

Sold
$1395.00

Description

Model 1916 German Camouflage Helmet-This great looking camouflage helmet features the classic brown, green and tan color combo with finger width black lines separating the colors. The finish is mostly intact. The interior has the original leather liner band and two of the pads. This is rough and stiff and the band has shrunk. One of the eyelets for the chinstrap is present. There is a name in the rear skirt, Harold. The side of the interior is stamped G.B.N. 64 indicating production by Gebrüder Bing A.G., Nürnberg in the size of 64. This is the only Bavarian maker and they only made size 64 shells. Interesting!
