WW1 John Bull & British Bulldog 'TO HELL WITH THE KAISER' patriotic badge

A scarce original First World War early period patriotic large bronze and enamel lapel badge, depicting in relief, a defiant 'John Bull ' wearing 'Royal Naval Brigade' uniform with ammunition bandoliers and cutlass to hand, beside him his faithful 'British Bulldog' with 'Union Flag' stands as defiant; the reverse impressed with 'Rd.641706' a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1914. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, wear to original silvered finish.Height approx 34mm.
