Original WWII Dutch NSB armband

This armband from the 1930s belonged to the NSB (Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging) and served as a rank insignia within the organization.The armband is made of strong black woven cotton with a decorative stitched pattern that adds relief and emphasized the wearer's status.On the front, two horizontal red stripes are applied, accompanied by a metal star, which together indicated the rank of the wearer and pointed to a higher function or leadership position within the NSB.The reverse side shows the original construction with an elastic insert and lining, which improved wearing comfort and kept the armband securely in place.To this day, the exact rank associated with this armband remains unknown.A unique piece for any Dutch collaboration collection!Article number: 16456Originele WWII Nederlandse NSB armbandDeze armband uit de jaren 30 behoorde tot de NSB (Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging) en diende als rangonderscheiding binnen de organisatie.De armband is vervaardigd uit stevig zwart geweven katoen met een decoratief stikselpatroon dat extra reliëf geeft en zo de status van de drager benadrukte.Op de voorzijde zijn twee horizontale rode strepen aangebracht, aangevuld met een metalen ster, die gezamenlijk de rang van de drager aanduidden en wezen op een hogere functie of leiderspositie binnen de NSB.De achterzijde toont de originele constructie met elastisch inzetstuk en voering, wat het draagcomfort verbeterde en de armband stevig op zijn plaats hield.Tot op heden is de exacte rang van deze armband onbekend.Uniek voor de Nederlandse collaboratie verzameling!
