German WWI era , Order of the Silesian Eagle, 1st Class

Original era manufacture. A very formidable looking black iron badge with a silver painted crescent and bandeau. Light age and wear. Awarded for 6 months service during the Silesian uprisings in 1919-1921. One of the few Freikorps awards to be permitted to be worn on military uniforms during the Third Reich.
