1940 Dated British Army MKII Steel Helmet Relic. Cardiff.

This example came from the same loft as item 62723 recently and has suffered from bad storage as seen in the photos. The photos appear that the helmet has a brown finish but im sorry to say thats not the case as im sure my house clearance ''guy'' has given it a clean perhaps to make it look prettier before trying to sell it to me, i have told him on a number of occasions that i do prefer the items he finds to be as is and untouched! The inside liner is well used and covered in dust and at least my ''guy'' has not tried to remove the liner and clean the crown area, liner has clear makers details and 1940 date. Comes with its period chinstrap. Like relics? I do hope so!
