German WWI Feldmutze for Artillery-This cap is in sound condition, especially considering its age. This is the Model 1910 feldmutze. It is produced in field grey wool that is faded and has one hole near the back of the crown. The piping around the top panel is a faded red, as is the piping on the black center band for artillery. It has the national cockade at the top though this is damaged. Only the outer ring is in place. The interior is fully lined in white. It is in sound shape aside from some moderate discoloration around the band. This cap needs a little TLC and some reshaping and would make a nice display cap.
