German Imperial WWI Prussian M-1915 EM Shako-This is a black leather shako has some discoloration and wear to the body. The top panel and both visors are black leather. The leather at the top appears slightly textured and crazed, this could be caused by the leather shrinking from age. It has a front plate of the Prussian eagle with the words Koenig, and the initials 'FR' on the center of the chest.The removable center cockade is white wool with a black center. There is a cockade at each side, the red, white and black cockade is a repaint, and the other, black and white cockade seems to be untouched.The chinstrap is black leather. It is complete with buckles. The interior has a brown leather liner that is still soft. It is a small size 55. Overall, this is in sound condition!
