Original German WWII Heer/Waffen SS M31 Breadbag Unmarked-This is an authentic M31 breadbag issued to Heer and Waffen SS troops during WWII. Constructed of durable field-green canvas with reinforced stitching, it retains all standard features: zinc buttons, blackened leather reinforcements, and wartime painted gray metal D-rings for equipment attachment. Both leather strap loops, securing straps are intact and are little stiff, but still supple.The bag is unmarked, which is not uncommon for wartime production, especially from mid- to late-war periods when manufacturers often omitted or simplified markings. The field gear shows minimal wear, with strong canvas and solid hardware throughout.A fine representative example of the standard soldier's breadbag, carried in the field for rations and personal items in excellent condition.
