Description
Original German WWII 6x30 Black Leather Binocular Case Dated 1935-This is an authentic early-war German binocular case designed for the standard issue 6x30 field glasses. Constructed of high-quality blackened leather with heavy white stitching, it retains excellent overall condition for its age. The interior still has its original brown leather lining and padded lid support. The reverse features a sturdy leather belt loop for field wear. The case is clearly maker markedReinhold Adam, Mainz, and dated1935, with a crisp Waffenamt inspection stamp alongside. The lid retains its pull-down closure tab, though the fastening stud on the body of the case is missing. Both side fittings are intact but show age with surface rusting to the metal loops. Notably, the original shoulder strap is absent.Despite minor wear and handling marks consistent with service use, the leather remains strong and pliable. A very solid early example of a German binocular case, perfect for display with a pair of period 6x30 field glasses.
