Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, TALW

Original era manufacture. A later war production bayonet in very clean condition. Square pommel, straight guard, non-contour wood grips, blue finish blade without fullers.Nearly 100% original blue finish remains on the blade, displaying runner wear only. Likewise amount of finish on the guard and pommel, original finish to the wood grip plates.The blue steel finished scabbard is dent free, showing a small amount of finish loss near the throat from having been inserted in a belt frog.The only issue keeping this from being an exceptional condition bayonet, are several small chips in the top of the grip near the pommel.
