Doodles the Clown Blackpool Tower Circus character figure badge c1930s

A scarce original circa 1930's 'Doodles the Clown figural character gilt and enamel promotional badge' wearing his unique large top hat and bow tie, red tail coat and black trousers; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham18' 'COPYRIGHT'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting and hooked catch, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example.Height approx 34mm.
