A scarce original First World War period 'On War Service 1915 badge'; blue enamel gilt title surround the solid seeded centre displaying a red Rose, Thistle and Shamrock, the united emblems of England, Scotland and Ireland with Kendall & Gent Ltd below; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Bolton' and 'Reg 638232'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.Diameter approx 26mm.
