Original WWII Dutch NSB Mussert Cross 'Anton Mussert' without swords

This concerns an extremely rare NSB Mussert Cross 'Anton Mussert' without swords, produced in 1941 for the National Socialist Movement.The cross, made of enameled metal with gilded details and fitted with the original blue-white-orange ribbon, bears on the front the inscription 'HOU EN TROU – ANTON MUSSERT – 1941' and on the reverse the swastika with Wolfsangel symbol.Although the Mussert Cross was designed as a decoration, this type was in fact never awarded.Of this special variant without swords, only three examples are known to exist, making this object one of the greatest rarities within the field of collaboration awards from World War II.Article number: 16551
