France Foreign Legion 2° Régiment Etranger d'Infanterie' Les Sous-Officiers' Pocket Crest

the crest is in near mint condition and made by J Y SEGALEN 2014 and serial number 795. The crest is from the 2nd strike.The president of the sous-officiers du 2e REI, Major Houssin, designed and created an insignia for his fellow non-commissioned officers. The insignia was made by Arthus Bertrand Paris with 600 numbered examples.In 2014 a second strike was made and issued to the sous-officiers of the regiment. It was made by J.Y. Segalen with an unknown number of numbered examples issued.
