Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, Jinsen Arsenal, 55906

Original period manufacture. A very clean, early production example of this Korean made bayonet for the Imperial Japanese Army. Bright finished blade with fullers, hooked guard, contoured wood grips, and a flat, bird-head pommel.The blade is very clean, with just a touch of scattered clouding to the surface finish, no pitting, no corrosion. Excellent blue finish to the hooked guard and pommel, original finish to the wooden grip plates with minimal marring.The blue steel scabbard is dent-free, showing only some light surface scratching from age and use.
