You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht LeuchtpatronenFallschirm (Signal Flare Parachute), as used throughout the war! This was used by all branches by various personnel.The signal flares in most Luftwaffe aircraft were either located in the cockpit or in the pilot's personal equipment.The pilot and crew would use them as a means of communicating with other pilots while in flight, or to be used in emergency situations when on the ground.Made of silk, this Signal Flare Parachute is in EXCELLENT used condition.Some slight wear and marks due to the age, but nothing that detracts. No markings or stamps that I can see, but all cords are intact!Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
